Polydron

Polydron are a small family business in the Cotswolds in England. When the original inventor came up with the idea for squares and triangles that snapped together to form cubes and prisms in the early 1970s, he had little idea that nearly 50 years later children around the world would still be enjoying the innovation! Polydron is now recognised as an important educational tool for children of all ages. It covers a wide range maths, design, and technology, and construction concepts such as geometry, learning properties of shapes as well as developing the skills to create simple and complex shapes. The packs contain a wide variety of shapes covering triangles, squares, hexagons and rectangles and are ideal for building both 2-D and 3-D shapes e.g. a wide variety of polygons, quadrilaterals, cuboids, prisms, cones, rhombuses, pentagons, octagons, decagons and polyhedral.
