And it begins....

School holidays are a stressful time for many families, but they say you only have 18 Summers (years) with your children so make them good ones!

We’re now officially empty nesters and the thought of a holiday with our tribe is about the biggest treat I could think of!

My top tip, for what it’s worth, is to try keep it simple and outside. Many of our strongest childhood memories are adventures of our own making. Exploring the backyard, the local park, the beach.

Time to unwind and be unscheduled is as important for children as it is for adults.

In case you’re at home tearing your hair out, I’ll post a simple activity each day to inspire you and yours to find the extraordinary in the ordinary each day.

To kick it off, one of my all time faves -watching the sunset or the sunrise. Magic on a epic scale.

And a shout out to our eldest and youngest children who are sharing this amazing sunset with me in Northland - the first family holiday with all six of us in two years!
