It’s such a gorgeous Spring evening and the birds are singing their hearts out!

A great weekend for some icy flower play. I’ve always loved freezing botanicals in ice (although my adult versions are usually the the ice bucket variety!)

I posted an image of a frozen dandelion ring hanging in the sun over the Summer and it prompted a massive ice exploration journey @tuiearlylearners! I have just LOVED watching their creations ever since.
It’s such a fun activity and another great way of preserving and honouring children’s nature finds.
Simply pop your treasures into a vessel that will fit in your freezer. An ice cube tray, a zip lock bag, a muffin tray, cake tin, plastic cup or ice cream container-anything really and freeze. Pop your ice creation out of its mould and enjoy!
